Greenwich Police: Three Teens Arrested After Hamilton Avenue Home Burglary

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Three Greenwich teenagers were caught by police officers in the act of trying to break into a Hamilton Avenue residence Friday afternoon, police said.

Greenwich police were contacted after witnesses saw what appeared to be a break-in in progress at 302 Hamilton Ave. just after 2 p.m., police said. 

When officers arrived, they found two juveniles and a 19-year-old man on Booth Place who matched the description of the suspects, police said. The 19-year-old man allegedly was found in possession of proceeds from the burglary, police said. 

Charged with second-degree burglary, criminal attempt second-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and criminal attempt at sixth-degree larceny are two juveniles who police didn't identify due to their age and Renolson Ezekiel Dume, 19, of 78 Oak Ridge St., Greenwich.

He was held on $50,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court Dec. 23.
