A family member of Patrick Rohme contacted police on Friday after not being in contact with him for a couple of days.

Rohme, who has no fixed address, had been living in a rented U-Haul van, police said.

The van, which has Arizona plates, was found in the Riverside Commons shopping center just off Exit 5 of Interstate 95, police said. There was no one in it.

Police said Rohme often frequented the Steamboat Road pier, McDonald’s in Riverside and a rest stop off I-95 in Darien.

The 6-foot-4 Rohme has salt-and-pepper hair, and a pot belly. He has arthritis in his hands.
