The two men had $8,000 worth of unopened Apple merchandise and pot in the vehicle when stopped last week, Greenwich Time said.

Sean Lynch, 37, of the Bronx, N.Y., and Hector Gonzalez, 45, of Orlando, Fla., were charged with drug and possession of a shoplifting device offenses, Greenwich Time said.

Police are trying to determine where the items — mostly iPhones — came from because the Greenwich store reported no losses, Greenwich Time reported.
