Greenwich Police Arrest Woman On Drug Charges After Heroin Found

GREENWICH, Conn. -- A woman who Greenwich Police say was a heroin dealer in town was arrested Monday afternoon at her Putnam Green home.

Police said that after executing a pair of search warrants they discovered 60 bags of heroin on Toni Gentile, 25, as well as numerous hypodermic needles in her Putnam Avenue residence. Police said they also discovered prescription pills for which she didn’t have a prescription.

She was charged with one count each of possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a daycare, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was released on a promise to appear in court on June 13.

Police didn’t give a value for the drugs.
