Greenwich Man, Woman Accused Of Endangering Juvenile

GREENWICH, Conn. – Two Greenwich residents were facing allegations of endangering a child who was left in their care and are due in Stamford Superior Court on Friday, Greenwich police said.

Arrest warrants for Christine Campbell, 44, and Joseph A. Malloy, 41, were issued by Greenwich Police on Friday, June 28, a police report said. The warrants have been sealed by Stamford Superior Court.

The situation involves a juvenile who was left in their care, according to Lt. Kraig Gray of the Greenwich Police Department’s Detective Division. Both Campbell and Malloy reside in Greenwich at 67 W. View St., a police report said.

Campbell and Malloy were each charged with injury or risk of injury to (or impairing morals of) children, a felony. Additionally, Campbell was charged with assault with a weapon, a felony, and reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor. Malloy was also charged with assault, a misdemeanor. 

Gray clarified that Campbell and Malloy were not in the business of providing day care or any professional child-care services.  

A bond of $100,000 was issued for both suspects, a police report said.
