Greenwich Cops: Man Charged in Rx Fraud

GREENWICH, Conn. – A 53-year-old Hartford man was arrested by narcotics officers Wednesday in connection with prescription fraud in Greenwich involving narcotic pain relievers.

An East Putnam Avenue pharmacy contacted the police when Kendal Lipscomb, of 342 States St., allegedly attempted to pick up Roxicodone using a fraudulent prescription.

Police found Lipscomb was also in possession of a fake Maine driver’s license. He was arrested on two counts of forgery in the second degree, criminal attempt at possession of narcotics, and obtaining drugs by fraud, all felonies.

He was being held on a $1,000 bond and is due in court on June 28.
