GREENWICH, Conn. -- AAA Southern New England - CT recently honored the Greenwich Police Department with a Gold Award for the department’s outstanding traffic safety programs that include mature driver training, a high-profile distracted driving campaign and a middle school physics and crash education class, among other initiatives.
At AAAs 5th Annual Community Traffic Safety Awards lunch recently at Marisas, Trumbull, AAA public affairs manager Fran Mayko, right, presented a Gold Award to Capt. Pam Gustovich; and a Traffic Safety Hero award to Sgt. John Slusarz, center.
