Matturro was born May 13, 1949, to Raffaela (Buccieri) Matturro and Angelo Matturro. He was a graduate of Wright Technical School in the field of automotive, where he spent the next 40 plus years in the automotive industry. Starting at H and L Chevrolet and, ending his career at Mercedes Benz of Greenwich.
Matturro is survived by his wife, Pamela (Masna) Matturro; daughter, Melissa (Matturro) Bertolf; son, Donald Vito Matturro, (Merritt Williams); father-in-law, Stanley Masna; son-in-law, Gustave Bertolf Jr. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Olive (Lund) Masna.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave. Greenwich, CT. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 at St. Catherines of of Sienna Church, 4 Riverside Ave. Riverside.
