GREENWICH, Conn. Thomas F. Senft of Greenwich died July 17 at Greenwich Hospital. He was 72.
Born Jan. 18, 1940, in Port Chester, N.Y., he was the son of Charles and Helen Senft. In the early 1960s, Senft served in the U.S. Army with the military police and was stationed in Japan.
He worked at Fawcett's and CBS Publications. Most recently, Senft worked with his lifelong friend, Alan Stein. A member of the Greenwich Boat and Yacht Club, he loved boating and Byram Shore.
Senft is survived by his wife, Janet, of Greenwich; a brother, Robert Senft, of Greenwich; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Taracka, of Greenwich and Andrea (Denis) Dean, of Norwalk; and several cousins.
Family and friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Castiglione Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye, N.Y.
