GREENWICH, Conn. - Nicola P. Catino, a 42-year resident of Greenwich, died Nov. 26. He was 93.
Catino was born June 29, 1920, to Teodoro and Filomena Catino in Italy. After working at Richard's for more than 20 years as the head tailor, he went on to open and run his own men's clothing business, Catino Custom Tailors and Clothing in Greenwich for more than a decade.
Catino is survived by his wife, Concetta Catino; sons, Teodoro Catino of Italy and Tullio Catino of Greenwich; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 29, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Castiglione Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at St. Roch Parish. Entombment will follow in Putnam Cemetery.
