Maylin E. Abrahamsson, 85, Former Resident Of Riverside

OLD LYME, Conn. - Maylin "Lynn" E. (Ronnlund) Abrahamsson, a resident of Old Lyme for 40 years, formerly of Riverside, died Tuesday, Nov. 11. She was 85.

Abrahamsson was born Sept. 2, 1929, to Ragnar and Ebba Ronnlund. She grew up in White Plains, N.Y. After her marriage she made her home in the Riverside section of Greenwich. She briefly lived in Barrington, R.I., and then Old Lyme. She was also a volunteer at the Women's Exchange in Old Lyme.

Abrahamsson is survived by her sons, Alan (Fay), Todd (Deborah) and Glen (Marilyn); daughters, Kristine (Henry) Folsom, and Lisa (Steven) Russo; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Knut Lennart Abrahamsson.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29 at the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme, 2 Ferry Road, Old Lyme.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Abrahamsson's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
