Arguimbau was born March 9, 1959, in Philadelphia, Pa., daughter of Roscoe K. Fawcett, Jr. and Pamela Miller, both of Greenwich. She attended Greenwich Country Day School and Miss Hall's School. She was a certified massage therapist and Iyengar Yoga instructor. She developed an extensive community of practitioners and established her own center, The Red Barn Studio, at her home in back-country Greenwich.
Arguimbau is survived by her husband, Peter; son, Andre; daughter, Terra; father, Rocky (Mary); brothers, Roscoe K. Fawcett III (Sharon) and Gavin Scott Fawcett (Colleen); and sister, Dinah Young (Richard). She was predeceased by her mother, Pamela.
A celebration will be held Wednesday, May 29 at 2 p.m. outside in her gardens, 121 East Middle Patent Road, Greenwich.
