GREENWICH, Conn. - Marguerite Spofford Omdahl, a longtime resident of Greenwich, died June 12. She was 92.
Omdahl was born on May 14, 1921, in Mamaroneck, N.Y.; daughter of Florence Bermingham Spofford and Paul Cecil Spofford. She was a longtime volunteer with the Easter Seal Rehabilitation Center in Stamford.
Omdahl is survived by her sons, Peter Omdahl of Madison and Bruce Omdahl of Old Greenwich; daughters, Ingrid Betts of Darien and Karla Friedle of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; many grandchildren; and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Jacob Omdahl; and children, Eric Omdahl and Christine Stevens.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 20 at Saint Timothy's Church in Greenwich. A reception at the church will follow the Mass. Interment will be held at Christ's Church in Rye, New York at a later date.
