John F. Pinto, 56, Of Greenwich, Worked For Cross Ridge Group Home

GREENWICH, Conn. - John Francis Pinto of Greenwich died Jan. 14. He was 56.

Pinto was born April 22, 1957, in Bridgeport, to Frank and Muriel (Fitzpatrick) Pinto. He worked at the Cross Ridge group home run by Abilis, an agency for developmentally disabled people, since 1994.

Pinto is survived by his sister, Karen Pinto Kastner (Matthew) of Newtown; a nephew; foster siblings, Sharon Unwin, Ventura, Calif., Dana Mastri (Heike) of Naugatuck, Carol Mastri of Bridgeport, and Thomas Kush and family, O'Fallon, Ill. He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours are Sunday, Jan. 19 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the home of John's sister, Karen (Mat). Internment will be private.
