Jean C. Clarke, 90, Of Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. - Jean Callaghan Clarke of Greenwich Feb. 9. She was 90.

Clarke was born Sept. 7, 1923, in Greenwich; daughter of Mary Agnes (McGurk) Callaghan and John D. Callaghan. She lived her entire life in Greenwich. She was employed by the Town of Greenwich in the Tax Collector's Office and later as a secretary at the former St. Mary's Grammar School and administrative assistant of the Religious Education Program at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, in Greenwich.

Clarke is survived by her children, Gigi (Tony) Melillo of Cos Cob, Susan (David) Ludder of Tallahase Fla., and Patrick (Sue Ellen Ingraham) Clarke of Cos Cob; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Frank P. Clarke; brother, John (Fran) Callaghan; sisters, and Margaret (Ken) Foster and Mary (Bill) Clark.

There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13 at St. Mary's Church, 178 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich.
