Jane L. Gleason, 76, Co-Founder, Davenport, Inc. In Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. - Jane L. Gleason, a noted interior designer in both Greenwich, and Palm Beach, Fla., died Saturday, Nov. 1. She was 76.

Gleason was born to Robert and Mary Lorentz, in Chicago, Ill., and attended Northwestern University. She co-founded Davenport, Inc. in Greenwich, in 1996, and Davenport Too in Palm Beach, Fla., in 2006.

Gleason is survived by her husband, William F. Gleason; children, Christy Redican of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Bill Gleason of London; and four grandchildren.

A memorial celebration will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9 at the Gulf Stream Bath and Tennis Club in Delray Beach, Fla.
