GREENWICH, Conn. Mark A. DeMarsico, a Greenwich car dealership manager from New Fairfield, died July 8 of injuries he suffered after a motorcycle accident, according to reports. He was 50.
According to The News-Times, police said DeMarsico lost control of his Harley Davidson motorcycle while traveling south on Route 7 in Kent. He was ejected from the motorcycle and landed on the northbound shoulder. Police said DeMarsico was not wearing a helmet.
DeMarsico was born Oct. 22, 1961, in Bronx, N.Y., to Richard and the late Theresa Manza DeMarsico. He was the general manager of New Country Audi in Greenwich.
A member of St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield, DeMarsico was an avid sports fan. He loved riding his motorcycle and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
DeMarsico is survived by his wife, Gina, of New Fairfield; a son, Mark Anthony; two daughters, Savanna and Dominique; a sister, Dawn (John) Falkowski, of Danbury; two brothers-in-law, Anthony and Michael Gagliardi; and his mother-in-law, Jean Gagliardi, of Danbury.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Green Funeral Home in Danbury. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield. Burial will follow at Mountainview Cemetery in New Fairfield.
