GREENWICH, Conn. Ellen Bonaparte, a lifelong Greenwich resident, died Oct. 4. She was 56.
She was born Aug. 16, 1956, to Frances and Mario Bonaparte. She participated in the Special Olympics during her teenage years and graduated from Greenwich High School in 1975. Bonaparte was a devoted fan of Elvis Presley, her family said..
Bonaparte is survived by her father, Mario; four siblings, Paul (Anne Bonaparte-Krogh), Kathryn (Richard) Wilen, Michael (Lori) Bonaparte and David (Heather) Bonaparte; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Frances, in 2011.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Riverside. Castiglione Funeral Home in Greenwich is handling arrangements.
