GREENWICH, Conn. - Eleanor (Ellie) Kittredge White Arau of Greenwich, formerly of Chappaqua, N.Y., died Tuesday, Oct. 28. She was 87.
Arau was born in Woburn, Mass., in 1927, to James and Eleanor White. She attended Katherine Gibb school and worked at MIT before becoming a sales rep for General Foods' coffee division.
She lived in Chappaqua, N.Y., before moving to Greenwich, where she resided for 42 years. Arau is survived by her daughter, Eleanor Kittredge Arau Dippold of Freehold, N.J.; son, Anthony James Arau (Barbara) of Seattle, Wash.; two granddaughters; and a niece.
