GREENWICH, Conn. - Doris L. Scales, a lifelong resident of Greenwich, died Oct. 29. She was 74.
Scales was born Dec. 30, 1938, in Greenwich, to Ann E. and Lee O. Wagner. She was a graduate of Greenwich High School class of 1956. She was a homemaker and patent librarian. She worked for Amax and American Brands among others.
Scales is survived by her daughter, Linda Scales with her partner Kevin Care; son, Andrew Scales III; daughter, Kristen Scales; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Andrew H. Scales Jr.
Services will be private. A memorial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The Bouton & Reynolds Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
