Blume was born March 30, 1967, in Greenwich, to Kenneth and Imelda Blume. He attended Greenwich schools and worked in construction most of his life. Although he lived in the south for a while, he considered Greenwich his true home where his roots and family were.
Blume is survived by his siblings, Bonnie (Bill), Eddie (Terry), Lynne (Terry), Marylou (Mike), Ken, Mark, Marcia, Liz (Bill), Jayne (Warren) Eric, Michael (Jacci) and Heidi; many nieces and nephews; and girlfriend, Leah. He was predeceased by his parents; and sister, Barbara.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 at St. Mary's Church, 178 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich.
