Youth Charged in Credit Card Theft

A Greenwich youth was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging him with theft of a credit card and identity theft. The 16-year-old allegedly stole a family member's credit card and used it to make online purchases. The youth was given a juvenile summons for larceny in the sixth degree, theft of a credit card, illegal use of a credit card, receipt of stolen goods, criminal impersonation and identification theft in the third degree. He was released into his parent's custody and is due in juvenile court Oct. 5.

? A juvenile discovered in bushes outside of Greenwich High School was arrested on marijuana charges Wednesday. A school security officer smelled marijuana coming from the area where the teen was found. A small baggie of marijuana was found in his backpack. The teen was given a juvenile summons and is to appear in court on Oct. 5.

? Juan C. Duque, 46, of 56 Stagg St. in Brooklyn was arrested Wednesday on DWI charges. Officers found him sitting in his car, which was parked part way into a driveway on Hillside Road. He was sitting in his car with the vehicle running and appeared intoxicated. Duque failed sobriety tests and later at police headquarters became hostile toward officers. This resulted in an additional charge of threatening in the second degree. He was unable to post $250 bond and is due in court Oct. 6.
