Youth Arrested, Blocked 911 Call

A Greenwich youth was arrested Tuesday for his part in a domestic disturbance, which included interfering with a 911 call. Police said he became enraged when his cell phone and computer were taken away and pushed the victim into her bedroom so he could search for his things.  He also took away her phones so the victim could not call 911. The youth then ransacked the victim's bedroom looking for his belongings and pushed the victim back down on her bed whenever she tried to leave the room. The youth was charged with interfering with an emergency call, disorderly conduct and unlawful restraint in the second degree. He was taken to the Bridgeport Juvenile Correction Facility on an order to detain and is due in court on Dec. 14.
