Woman Charged With Shoplifting on Greenwich Ave.

A Greenwich woman was arrested for shoplifting from the LF Store on Greenwich Avenue Thursday, police reported. Store employees told police two women stole more than $1,600 in merchandise and fled, one on foot, the other by car. One woman also assaulted the store manager, police said. Officers traced the plate number to Rosana Catano, 53, of 10 Weaver St. She was arrested on charges of larceny and assault and was being held on a $2,000 bond pending a court date Friday, May 5.

? Leslie Nelson, 48, of 14 Lucy St., Greenwich, was arrested on DWI charges Friday morning. Police said she was driving erratically on Hamilton Avenue and, when stopped, had a plastic cup filled with wine. She failed field sobriety tests and was released on a $250 bond. She is due in court May 12.

? A Greenwich teen was arrested Thursday on disorderly conduct charges. Police said they saw the boy push another boy in the chest a number of times during a disagreement. He was issued a summons and is due in court on May 6.

? Valerie Morales, 35, of 11 St. Roch Ave. in Greenwich was arrested on a warrant Thursday charging her with failure to appear. She was originally charged with improper use of a marker plate. She was released on a $1,000 bond and is due in court on May 6.
