Woman Charged in Greenwich Domestic Dispute

A 22-year-old Stamford woman was arrested in Greenwich on Thursday on disorderly conduct charges after a verbal domestic incident turned violent, police said. The woman was allegedly belligerent and yelling at the victim in the middle of the night at a home on North Water Street. When the victim tried to walk away, the woman began slapping her in the back of the head and neck. During police questioning, the woman continued to be belligerent. She was arrested and released on $1,000 bond. She was due in court Thursday.

Also from the Greenwich Police Department:

• Kastriot Djema, 19, of 28 Columbus Ave., Greenwich, was arrested Tuesday by warrant on charges of violating probation. He was released on $20,000 bond and is due in court April 19.

• Mihran Batzanian, 50, of 146 River Road, Cos Cob, was arrested Wednesday on charges of disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call and larceny from a warrant issued March 28. He was released on $1,000 bond and was due in court Wednesday.
