An employee of Whole Foods on East Putnam Avenue was arrested Friday for allegedly stealing $200 from a customer's wallet left in a basket. Nazer Ulystre, 48, of 335 W. Main St., Stamford, was seen on video surveillance removing the basket from the floor and walking down the adjacent aisle before going downstairs to the employee section of the store and leaving Whole Foods. Ulystre was charged with larceny in the sixth degree and is due in court Oct. 22.

? William Henry Manning, 49, of 30 Oak St., Port Chester, was arrested Friday after officers discovered crack cocaine in his pants pocket during a motor vehicle stop. Manning was a passenger in a car stopped on Hamilton Avenue. The crack totaled 1.9 grams and had a street value of $150 to $200. Manning was charged with possession of crack cocaine, intent to sell narcotics under one ounce, possession of cannabis under four ounces, criminal attempt to sell narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was being held on a $10,000 bond and due in court Oct. 22.
? Matthew Ryan Beasley, 29, of 140 Sylvan Knoll Road, Stamford, was arrested Sunday on charges of criminal mischief. A Greenwich Taxi driver told police Beasley kicked his side-view mirror after he told Beasley and his four friends he couldn't drive them because his car did not have enough seatbelts. Beasley allegedly knocked the mirror off its base on the driver-side door. He was released on a promise to appear in court Oct. 25.
