Culinary Classes for Kids: 4 to 5 p.m. Lisa Suriano, founder of the Veggiecation Program, will teach kids recipes using fresh fruits and vegetables. Admission is free. YMCA Greenwich.

Wednesday, May 29

R.E.A.D. to a Dog: 3 p.m. Trained dogs come to the library to sit and listen to children read their books. Admission to this weekly event is free. Byram Shubert Library, 21 Mead Ave.

Board of Health: 6:30 p.m. Regular meeting. Greenwich Town Hall Josephine C. Evaristo Conference Room

Board of Education Ad Hoc Committee: 7 p.m. Meeting at Havemeyer Building Board Room.
