Surveyors were spotted at the North Street Shopping Plaza on Wednesday assessing the area around the former IGA Supermarket. The backcountry grocery store closed over the summer, sparking a fear in many residents of a chain corporation moving in. Employees with Rocco V. D'Andrea Inc., who were doing the surveying work, declined to comment on why they were there.
Let's chat: What do you think the surveyors were doing? Would you like to see replace IGA? Has the closing of the grocery store upset your routine? Leave a comment below or send me an email at acorbett@mainstreetconnect.us.
