Westchester Airport Increases Security After Boston Explosions

PURCHASE, N.Y. -- Patrols have been increased at Westchester County Airport in the wake of the two explosions at the Boston Marathon Monday.

The Westchester County Department of Public Safety has also increased patrols on the county parkways, according to Lt. Thomas Murphy. There have been no incidents to report, but Murphy said that the department is making sure to do due diligence.

Murphy said he doesn't know how long patrols will be increased, but said that the department will remain on high alert until further notice.
