Victoria Lynn Lange, Sang With Chancel Choir

Greenwich resident Victoria Lynn Lange died at her home Jan. 31 after an 11-year battle with breast cancer. She was 54.

Lange was born in Glendale, Calif., and graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She worked in financial services for Manufactures Hanover Trust Co. and Shearson Lehman Hutton Trust Co. Lange moved to Greenwich in 1993 and retired shortly afterward to tend to her family.

As an active member of the community, Lange devoted much of her time to the Second Congregational Church and its Chancel Choir as well as to her children's schools. She also had a passion for the arts, including painting, writing, ballet, singing and literature. In her free time, Lange enjoyed doing yoga, gardening and cycling. Lange also rekindled a childhood dream of owning her own horse, Truman.

She is survived by husband Paul D. Lange; children Trent Goulard, Adrienne Lange and Russell Lange; sisters Juliane Swanson and Paula Foes; and brother Randall Foes.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 5 at the Second Congregational Church, 139 E. Putnam Ave., Greenwich. Memorial donations may be made to the Bennett Cancer Center, Stamford Hospital Foundation, 1351 Washington Blvd, Suite 202, Stamford, CT 06902.
