Two Women to Lead Family Centers Board

Laurie Host's leadership and Patti Fast's fundraising efforts were just the tip of the iceberg that led the Greenwich residents to their new positions on the board of directors at the Greenwich Family Centers.

At the 199th annual meeting for the Family Centers board meeting on Oct. 26, Host was elected chairman and Fast was elected vice chairman. Both women have been involved with Family Centers for more than four years. Host co-chaired this past summer's Coney Island benefit, which raised more than $580,000. Fast has chaired many fundraising events, including the Fiesta Cuba benefit in 2008.

Greenwich residents Pam Caffray, Lindsay Reimers and Susan Younce were also appointed to the board of directors.

Family Centers is a private, nonprofit organization offering education and human services to children, adults and families living in lower Fairfield County. Its services include early childhood education, counseling, independent living, senior services and work life solutions.
