Two Teens Arrested in Shoplifting in Greenwich

Two Westport teens were arrested in Greenwich for allegedly shoplifting from the LF store on Greenwich Avenue. The two girls gave their names and contact information to a suspicious store manager, and it was found the two had also stolen merchandise from the LF branch in Westport.

The two were in fitting rooms, where they placed merchandise in a handbag. The girls were being interviewed at the Westport Police Department when Greenwich police notified them of the shoplifting investigation. The teens voluntarily went to Greenwich headquarters and were charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. They were released on a promise to appear in court June 1.
