Tiff Turns Ugly; Couple Arrested

A Greenwich couple were arrested early Monday after a fight at their Wilbur Peck Court home turned violent. The 23-year old man said his wife, also 23, cut his chest with a kitchen knife during the argument. The wife said he had hit her on the head and cut off the end of her braid. Officers did not indicate which action occurred first. They were both arrested for disorderly conduct, and the woman was also charged with assault in the second degree. She was held on a $1,000 bond and was due in court Monday. The man was released on a promise to appear in court later Monday.
