A 15-year-old town boy admitting to setting two separate fires in the bathrooms at Greenwich Library after turning himself in to police.
Police had investigated the fires and developed information that the teen was involved. A warrant was issued Jan. 25 on charges of two counts of reckless burning, which is a felony. The teen turned himself in Thursday to police, which had issued a warrant for his arrest. He was released on a promise to appear in juvenile court Feb. 15.

Frederick Allardt, 52, of 78 River Road, Cos Cob, was issued a summons at Greenwich Point on Sunday on charges of breach of peace after allegedly trying to take a dog from his ex-wife. Allardt told police he felt the dog was his and that his ex-wife of four years was keeping the canine from him. Several people contacted police after Allardt confronted his ex wife at Greenwich Point, a popular destination for dog walkers in Old Greenwich. He was arrested and released on a misdemeanor summons. Allardt was due in court Monday.
Davui Caridi, 19, of 32 Cutler Road, Greenwich, was arrested Thursday after allegedly sending threatening text messages to his ex-girlfriend. The girl called police after seeing Caridi outside her home. She showed police several messages from Caridi's cell phone saying he would go to her house with a baseball bat and make it the worst night of her life. Caridi admitted to sending the text messages and said he was angry with the victim. He was arrested on charges of threatening, breach of peace and simple trespass. Caridi was released on a $1,000 bond and was due on court Friday.
Peter Halka, 59, of 17 Roseville Road, Westport, was arrested Thursday after turning himself in on a warrant on charges of three counts of burglary and two counts of criminal trespass. Halka allegedly entered a home that was in civil proceedings for ownership without permission. He was released on a promise to appear in court Feb. 11.
