Teen Charged In Board of Ed. Vandalism

GREENWICH, Conn. — A 14-year-old Greenwich resident was charged with criminal mischief when he and three other youths were found Thursday at the Board of Education building at Havemeyer Place, with fresh spray paint on the wall and a can of paint nearby, police said. 

The teen admitted to spraying the wall and identified another juvenile who was involved, police said. He was issued a juvenile summons and released to his parents. He is due in court Tuesday.

A New York City man was arrested on a charge of breach of peace after an argument became physical at the Greenwich train station taxi stand on Sunday, police said. A witness identified Patrik Solotruk, 36, of 100 Riverside Blvd., who told police he was arguing with the victim but denied that the argument turned physical. The witness also said the victim left the scene before police arrived. Solotruck was released on a promise to appear in court Monday.
