Greenwich residents can hold onto their park passes from this year for 2011 renewal. The passes are permanent cards, so there no need to throw away your current one. All residents should receive notifications by mail once new park pass fees are set and renewal applications in the New Year. After the renewal process has been completed, your pass will be reactivated.
You will need to file for a new pass only if you are a new resident, did not purchase a park pass in 2010, or have relocated to a new Greenwich residence since the last application was filed.
Park, beach and tennis passes are required from May 1 to Oct. 1. Leashed dogs are allowed only from Dec. 1 through March 31. From Nov. 1 through April 30, no fees are charged to enter Greenwich Point and Byram Park.
