Smoke Bomb Set off at Greenwich High School

GREENWICH, Conn. – A 14-year-old Greenwich High School student was charged with criminal mischief and breach of peace after allegedly setting off a smoke bomb at the school earlier this month, police said.

On April 5, the “smoke bomb” was set off within the glass corridor of Greenwich High. The student admitted to the incident, police said. He was charged April 19 and released.

Also from the Greenwich Police Department:

• A 16-year-old Greenwich boy was charged with disorderly conduct after a woman complained he was enticing her son into a fight in the middle of a street Monday, police said. The woman told police she was driving her and her son home when she saw the teen walking on the street. He allegedly approached her car and said he wanted to fight her son. She drove to the Greenwich Police Department while the boy took off his jacket and related, once again, that he wanted to fight, police said. The teen was released and is due in court May 1.

• Bibian Zuniga, 46, of 50 Forest St., Stamford, was charged with larceny after police said she stole a parking permit from a car April 20. The stolen permit was found in Zuniga’s car, police said. She was released on a promise to appear in court May 2.
