GREENWICH, Conn. Mitt Romney swept to victory with 1,437 votes Tuesday in Greenwich's Republican presidential primary, according to the Greenwich Registrar of Voters.
Newt Gingrich received 101 votes, Ron Paul 164 and Rick Santorum, who suspended his campaign earlier this month, 43 votes; 38 voters remained uncommitted to any candidate.
Statewide, Romney received 23,586 votes, or 66.2 percent of the total.
Romney is expected to win the Republican nomination to challenge President Barack Obama in the fall election.

District 1: Romney 90 votes; Gingrich 7 votes; Paul 8 votes; Santorum 4 votes; 2 uncommitted.
District 2: Romney 82 votes; Gingrich 5 votes; Paul 13 votes; Santorum 1 vote; 1 uncommitted.
