GREENWICH, Conn. A portion of Riversville Road remains closed Wednesday after an accident Monday knocked out power to residents in the area.
Power has been restored but the road between Sherwood Avenue and Porchuck Road will stay closed through Wednesday night, according to Connecticut Light & Power officials. Connecticut Light & Power originally estimated the repair would be completed by Tuesday afternoon.
According to police the repair was complicated and will require an extended amount of time to complete.
