Riverside Kids Found Shooting Air Gun at Birds

Two Riverside kids were arrested Saturday after allegedly shooting air rifles at a bird on Spruce Street. A resident told Greenwich police he saw the two youths kneeling with the gun on the street and told them to drop it. Police took the air rifle and four remaining lead pellets. The parents of the two youths were contacted, and both were issued juvenile summons on the charge of breach of peace. Both are due in court April 26.

Also from the Greenwich Police Department:

• A 50-year-old Greenwich woman and a 25-year-old Stamford woman were arrested Sunday on a charge of disorderly conduct after the 50-year-old woman allegedly pulling the 25-year-old woman’s “weave” out of her head. She told police she pulled the woman’s hair because she had attacked her in front of 10 juveniles. Both were released on a promise to appear in court Tuesday.

• Gladson Graham, 49, of 45 Raymond St., Stamford, was arrested in Greenwich last week on a charge of driving under the influence after parking his car on the sidewalk. The passenger got out of the vehicle and flagged down the police officer, saying she believed the driver was driving drunk. Graham failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. He was released on $250 bond and is due in court on April 28.
