Renovations Begin At Old Greenwich's Rosa Hartman Park

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The first phase of renovations has officially begun at Rosa Hartman Park, which straddles the Stamford and Greenwich border, according to Patch.com.

The improvements to the park will cost $185,000, Patch.com said. The work began with the removal of six dumpster loads of fallen trees from the grounds,

Other improvements include: repaving of the parking lot; installing wetland buffers with native wetland plants; installing rain gardens to naturally accommodate stormwater discharge; landscaping with native plants; making open space for a picnic area; adding new portable toilet shelter/screen, kiosk and a utility gate and entrance sign, according to Patch.com.
