GREENWICH, Conn., -- As power restoration work continues in Greenwich and throughout the state two days after a storm that pounded the area with high winds and driving rain, examples of nature's destructive power are visible throughout the area.
Pictured is a tree uprooted on North Maple Street, just one of many trees that were toppled or saw large branches fall to the ground knocking out power lines.
Eversource reports that 927 customers are still without power in Greenwich as of 12:30 p.m.
