Police are investigating the death of a man found in a Port Chester parking lot early Monday morning.
Police, responding to a 4:05 a.m. disturbance report, discovered Gilberto Hernandez, 41, lying unconscious behind La Gratta at 107 Adee Street, according to a police report. Hernandez went into cardiac arrest in an ambulance on the way to Greenwich Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital at 5:07 a.m.
A preliminary investigation showed that Hernandez may have been involved in an altercation. Connecticut medical examiners will perform an autopsy Wednesday.
