Police Arrest Man for Interfering

Charles J. Federice, 32 of 45 West Ave. in Stamford was arrested on Friday for interfering with an officer. A resident on Pilgrim Drive reported a suspicious man in the neighborhood on Friday night. Police say officers found that Federice, who matched the witness' description. Police said they discovered he had an active felony warrant for his rearrest on failure to appear charges in Norwalk. As officers were arresting Federice, they said he tried to flee on foot. Officers quickly apprehended him and he was released on a promise to appear in court on July 30.[breakhere]

• Waldemar Ordonez, 32 of 1 Sommers St. in Port Chester was arrested on DUI charges Saturday. At a late night vehicle stop, police say Ordonez failed hree sobriety tests. His highest blood alcohol level in the test was .192. In addition to DUI, Ordonez was charged with driving without a license and failing to maintain his lane while driving. He is set to appear in court on Aug. 9.
