The pet of the week is Penny, a 9-month old spayed female black Labrador currently up for adoption at Adopt-A-Dog. She was rescued from a Midwestern puppy mill and came to the shelter on June 2. She is a sweet, yet energetic pup who is social with most other dogs. However, Adopt-A-Dog recommends Penny go to a home with children over 10-years-old.
