Patricia Kirkpatrick Jackson of Greenwich died Dec. 7 at Rosenthal Hospice Center in Stamford. She was 84 years old.
Jackson grew up in White Plains, N.Y. She and her late husband William Jackson moved to Greenwich in 1963. An avid gardener, she would plant window boxes throughout town and make decorative flower arrangements. She was a member of the Old Greenwich Garden Club. Jackson also enjoyed sailing and was once president of Riverside Yacht Club's Ladies Activity Committee. Jackson was also passionate about painting and was very talented. She took part in an art class that met every Monday for nearly 35 years.
She is survived by her children, Susan Jackson-Sharpe, Nancy Jackson-Reno and Kirk Jackson; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Jan. 8 at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church. Memorial donations can be made to the ALS Association of Connecticut or the Young Mariners Foundation.
