Passenger Arrested for Being With Driver

A Stamford man was arrested during a motor vehicle stop Wednesday after police found he was violating a protective order against him by the car's driver. Clifford Joseph, 27, of 66 Durant St., was riding in a vehicle that was stopped for failure to display a front license plate. During the stop, police learned that Joseph was in violation of the protective order by being in the car with the driver.

Joseph was arrested on charges of violating a protective order. He was being held on $250 bond and is due in court Nov. 12.
