Overnight Work Scheduled For I-95 In Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Overnight work will be done on the I-95 northbound bridge under James Street in Greenwich this week, the Connecticut Department of Transportation announced. 

The work will be done from 9 p.m. Monday, July 8, through 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 10. 

The project consists of concrete haunch removal and concrete repair on the I-95 northbound bridge under James Street.

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 northbound between the New York State line and Exit 2 for Doran Avenue in Greenwich. Traffic control personnel and signs will be used to guide motorists through the work zone. 

The schedule could be changed or extended due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.

Mohawk Northeast will perform the work, which is  included in the DOT’s 2013 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs.
