FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Trains on the New Haven Line were experiencing scattered delays of up to 35 minutes on Tuesday night due to congestion caused by earlier overhead wire issues, Metro-North announced via Twitter after 9 p.m.

The wire problems were reported near New Rochelle, N.Y., Metro-North said. 

Northbound riders on the Danbury Branch were also seeing delays of 15 to 20 minutes due to the congestion.

Metro-North urged riders to listen for announcements at the stations.
