Old Greenwich Man Arrested on Marijuana Charge

An Old Greenwich man was arrested Tuesday on possession of marijuana charges during a motor vehicle stop. Jader Carvajal, 25, of 17 Havemeyer Lane, was stopped on Delavan Avenue for having an expired vehicle registration. The arresting officer smelled marijuana and found a small amount in the center console, police said. Carvajal was issued a misdemeanor summons for possession of marijuana under four ounces and failure to renew a registration. He was released on a promise to appear in court on April 19.

? Jhonny Rosero-Andrade, 47, of 32 Wilbur Peck Court in Greenwich was arrested Tuesday for violation of a protective order. He is being held on a $50,000 bond and is due in court on April 20.

? Jeffrey Torres, 22, of 205 Franklin St. in Stamford was arrested in Greenwich last week for failure to appear in court for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under suspension. He was released on a $400 bond and is due in court on Friday.
